About Me

Hi, I’m Victor — a software engineer turned technology leader with a passion for building products that make a real difference. I’ve spent much of my career in the medical device space, working at the intersection of innovation, usability, and safety.

Originally from South Africa, I’ve called Sydney home for over 25 years. These days, I focus on architecture, platforms, and helping cross-functional teams bring complex ideas to life (ideally with minimal drama and maximum impact). I’m also an instrument-rated pilot — though these days I mostly fly a desk — and a firm believer in science, skeptical thinking, and football being played the proper way (with your feet).

I love what I do, especially when it means solving meaningful problems, working with great people, and occasionally sneaking in a good joke along the way.
